Here you are in the Wall Finishes section of Pat's Web.   Laurie and I like to do various kinds of finishes, only some of which are shown here.  We use mostly transparent glazes and speciality products for these finishes.

   If you look closely at the middle photo below, you will notice some "relief                                  stenciling" on the yellow wall.

This "Old World" look is very popular, especially in these golden brown tones.

The smooth surface on the walls and fireplace below were made to look textured.  Take a closer look and you may be able to make out the pitted and marbled looking surface.
